Replenishment at Sea Systems

The VHT Replenishment at Sea (RAS) systems, for transfer of Liquids (RAS-L) and Solids (RAS-S), are designed with extensive application knowledge accumulated over many years, supported by proven Drive and Control technology. The desgin of the abeam RAS systems is based on either All Electric or on Passive Compensated Electric technology, using electric drives, combined with hydraulics / pneumatics on specific auxiliary functions.

With both configurations, VHT delivers a system that is stable, safe to operate serviceable and efficient. Although there are many pre-engineered or standardized components and modules available, the layout and functionality of the system can be adapted to the user's specific requirements and ship design.

To date VHT successfully delivered over 35 RAS systems (ships) to full satisfaction of the owners / users.

Helicopter Transfer Systems

We developed and built several helicopter transfer systems which provide a winch-and-cable based solution as well as a rail-based design for wide range of helicopters, manned and un-manned. The helicopter handling system is designed to ensure a helicopter’s safe transportation into the hangar after landing and back. Both the solutions are suitable for a single as well as a dual hangar ship lay-out.
